Punk Shoes

History of punk products goes back to 1980s when it was first time introduced as a product to be used on a large scale (mass production). Before that punk products were normally handmade and were produced and used on individual level because being punk was not very common. However, when huge number of people started adopting it, it became more common and thus the punk accessories have started manufacturing in large numbers.  

Punk actually is a unique mindset and not only related to strange clothing, hairstyling and music style. Punk fashion has many prominent elements as it holds a unique culture. The most important thing to be punk is to have an attitude which claims you’re being yourself. Being punk means you need to have that soul and not only following a particular trend.    

Out of many punk fashion elements, shoes are one of the most prominent. Punk shoes have a different look and they are unique in their styling. They are not the usual one and are distinctive from the one we wear normally. They have a “punk style” with sometimes high heels and unusual colors or sometimes too flat with either half covered top or a much narrow top cover. There are also block heels or sometimes creepers or flats. The most commonly used color for punk shoes is black but you will also find shocking pink, reds and sometimes even brighter colors.   

Punk shoes normally go with punk clothing as they both complement each other. These shoes if wore alone may give a weird look because with regular clothing they don’t match. It is important to have these with proper clothing, hairstyle and mindset because being punk is more than just a fashion it’s one’s statement of being. 

These shoes can have any unique design one can think of. They can be thigh high boots, sandals or slippers. High platforms are also common in punk shoes. Sometimes in a single pair there are two different shoes having same color combination but a different style and design on each single shoe. This is different indeed! Of course just as punk individuals are different so are their accessories.  

Punk shoes are a symbol for punk people as they normally don’t go for traditional shoes available at each corner of the market. They go for things that are distinct and have a different feel due to different style, different than the usual. Although the punk itself is something different and there is no need to make it prominent because the major philosophy behind being punk is to have a visible enough attitude which others can feel themselves but still exhibiting this individuality via different accessories is a common practice.  

Punk shoes are also available in combination with gothic style, thus making it even unique. These can be found at particular stores having punk collection. They are also available at online stores dealing in punk fashion accessories. These accessories being different look cool and trendy too therefore, for a change one can wear them occasionally if one is not a punk.
