Emo Shoes

Emo is actually from ‘emotional’. This fashion category is basically related to the subcultures of punk and gothic. It was initiated in 1980s and was used to describe a music which has an emotional effect easily identifiable from its lyrics. With the passage of time emo started symbolizing a whole category of fashion and accessories. People belonging to this genre are somewhat similar to Punks and Goths but they are quite emotional when it comes to life. They are called emo because they show hard from outer but are softer from inside. Their attitude is stubborn and straightforward but they hold a heart that is quite emotional. 

Emos dress up in a way that is different and the most prominent and common thing is their hair styling which covers their face from front and has twisted ends. They have dark dyed hair and they normally have front cutting which covers their face and have spikes at the back end or so. Not only hair styling, their clothing and other fashion accessories are also distinct. They wear tight clothes with skin tight T-shirts and jeans or pants. Emo girls and boys go for facial piercings and wear same kind of horn-framed glasses and girls take patchy bags. 

Emo shoes are also quite different. Initially they only wear skate shoes or rubber shoes but now a variety is introduced in emo line of shoes. Those old black rubber shoes are quite popular even today but more different colors and styles are now available in the market. Emo shoes have different types of laces that are colorful sometimes and have different styles. Many times there are different laces on each shoe of the same pair. Another distinct feature of emo shoes is the drawings. There are different drawings on the rubber parts of the emo shoes which looks quite unique and attractive at the same time.  

Emo shoes are quite popular among young and teenage boys and girls as they are specific yet trendy. The colorful designs on the different parts of the shoes are yet another thing that makes it unique. They are well-liked with sometimes emo drawings or emo phrases written on them or sometimes even both. The new designs introduced have more varied styles with unusual patterns that sometimes make you think the message behind it.   

With shoes having strange designs, clothes having skinny looks and other unusual accessories along with facial and skin piercing emo people give a distinct message of being emotional and thus promotes a message exceptional in itself. They are what they feel and thus share a completely different view of life. They have their own philosophy which makes their outlook one of its kinds. Many young people are becoming a part of this genre as it allows one to take life lightly yet giving it a hard touch too. Of course being a true punk or goth is not possible for everyone as it’s harsh and hard, thus being an emo to exhibit oneself is quite an affordable way.
